STABILITY TESTING

The Mightymate Mini Ute has been tested in accordance with Australian Design Rule 42/04 General Safety Requirements Clause 21 Stability Requirements.

The vehicle was loaded to its maximum loaded test mass to determine it center of gravity and hence its stability.

Vehicle Details

• Make: Mightymate
• Model: Mini Ute
• VIN: LLJZHKZ146G000141
• Engine No.: 162FMJ 61274401
• Fr Tyre: 3.25-16 6 PR 218 kgs @280kpa
• RR Tyres: 165/70R12 77T 415 kgs @44PSI
• Max. Loaded Test Mass (MLTM): 800 kgs (F = 120 kgs R= 680 kgs)
• Wheelbase (WB): 2060 kgs Radius of Tyre: 255 mm
• Rr Wheel Track (t): 1040 mm Ø = 78.34

Stability Testing

Calculations in accordance with the formula supplied in the ADRs are as follows.

L = WB x r = 1751 mm
F + R
h = r + ((WB – L)/tanØ)
= 318.78 mm
d = Lsin(arctan(t/2WB))
= 428.56 mm

Clause 21.1 states that ‘h’ be less than‘d’ which it is as seen above. Therefore the vehicle meets the stability requirements of ADR 42/04 Clause 21.
